In the instance where you use our payment system to sponsor a content, your payment account and transaction information includes information needed to complete the transaction (for example, information about your payment method and transaction amount) are not made public nor will they be disclosed.

- We collect information about the device you use that integrate with our Services, these include, the operating system versions to better personalise the content and signal strength.
- Device token to enable push notifications.

Emergency Services.
Ambulance, Fire and Police services’ number are available in Ghana only at the moment. That means, users in Ghana can dial direct numbers to get appropriate help needed.
Camera.
Some content(s) are visual and may require the use of the device’s camera.Our systems automatically process content and communications that you and others provide to analyse context and what’s in them for the purposes.
Calls.
Whenever any user makes their phone number available to the public, other users can directly dial the number and reach the destination. This however, means the user has the uttermost right to show or not show their contact information.
SMS.

First things first
Quodin collects your information in categories:
- The first is your information that is basically required to get your account created – such information about you is called Account Data and Images, photos, text, files, contact (collectively “Content”) that you submit, apply, display, perform (“post”) and your interaction with other users through our Service, that is called Content Data.
Public Information - Information including but not limited to your display name, posts, date and time of post, phone type, likes, pages you follow and followers are all public information.
- You are responsible for your content and various other information you may provide on Quodin under your username, for this reason you must be cautious of your Content especially if it is sensitive information. You may decide to interact with advertisers on Quodin trying to get their message across – in such instance we advise that exercise thorough care as some may be misleading.
- Your contents will be broadly disclosed as much as possible by suggesting your content to others of similar interest.
Information Quodin collects
We must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services. These information include the email account, used to sign in, the display name of the email, operation system of the device used.
The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services. We require certain information to deliver our Services and without this we will not be able to provide our Services to you. For example, you must provide your email to create an account to use our Services.
Our Services have optional features which, if used by you, require us to collect additional information to provide such features. You will be notified of such collection, as appropriate. If you choose not to provide the information needed to use a feature, you will be unable to use the feature. For example, you cannot invite your contacts to join Quodin if you do not permit us to upload your contact data from your device. Permissions can be managed through your Settings menu on both Android and iOS devices.
Your Messages
Private messages to intending parties are not made public; it’s just as it should be, “Private messages”. These messages can be deleted by the parties involved. We also store media, which are predominantly images on our servers.

Customer Support And Other Communications
When you contact us for customer support or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including copies of your messages, any other information you deem helpful, and how to contact you (e.g., an email address, username). For example, you may send us an email with information relating to app performance or other issues.
Contact List
- Users can allow or deny their contact list to be uploaded on Quodin to enable invitations to be sent to non-users to to choose to become users as well. In the way, they can also register their Institutions and promote their goods and or services to other users. Permission can be managed through your settings menu on both Android and iOS devices.
Account Information
- You must provide your email, display name, basic information (including a username of your choice) to create a Quodin account. If you don’t provide us with this information, you will not be able to create an account to use our Services. You can add other information to your account, such as a profile picture, “about”, phone number and current country information.
Device Information
- We collect information about the device you use that integrate with our Services, these include, the operating system versions to better personalise the content.
How can you manage or delete your information and exercise your rights?
- In relation to posts, you can delete those you would like to delete by going to your profile page and click on the delete icon next to that post.
- In an instance where you wish to make your post private and only visible to you, simply press the visibility icon next to the post and click it.
- You can altogether deactivate your account by going to your page and click on the upper right corner of the page and select deactivate my account.
- You can change your Services settings to manage certain information available to other users. You can manage your contacts, groups, and broadcast lists, or use our “block” feature to manage the users with whom you communicate.
- Changing Your Mobile Phone Number, Display Name, Picture, current country/city And “About” Information. If you change your country, you must update it using our in-app change country feature and get the feed of your current country/ region/ state/ city. You can also change your display name, profile picture, and “about” information, country at any time.
How long do we keep your information?
We keep information as long as we need it to provide our Products, protect our or other’s interests. We decide how long we need information on a case-by-case basis. Here’s what we consider when we decide:
- If we need it to operate or provide our Products. For example, we need to keep some of your information to maintain your account.
- If we need it for other legitimate purposes, such as to prevent harm; investigate possible violations of our terms or policies; promote safety, security and integrity; or protect ourselves, including our rights, property or products.
- Where you violate our Rules and your account is suspended, we may keep the identifiers you used to create the account (i.e., email address or phone number) indefinitely to prevent repeat policy offenders from creating new accounts.
How will you know the policy has changed?
We’ll notify you before we make material changes to this Policy. You’ll have the opportunity to review the revised Policy before you choose to continue using our Products.
With Third parties?
We don’t sell any of your information to anyone, and we never will. We also do not allow our partners to use and or disclose the data we provide. Here are the types of third parties we share information with: Partners who use our analytics services.
We make Quodin work for you
Just as you use Quodin to seamlessly participate in global conversations with people in countries all over the world, Quodin must move information across borders and to different countries around the world to support the safe and reliable service you depend on. For example, if you live in the United Kingdom and are having a conversation with someone in the Ghana, information has to move between those countries to provide that experience – it’s what you expect from us.

We use information we have (subject to choices you make and applicable law) to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services. Here’s how:
Our Services.
We use information we have to operate and provide our Services, including providing customer support; completing transactions; improving, fixing, and customizing our Services; and connecting our Services with Quodin that you may use. We also use information we have to understand how people use our Services; evaluate and improve our Services; research, develop, and test new services and features; and conduct troubleshooting activities. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.
Safety, Security, And Integrity.
Safety, security, and integrity are an integral part of our Services. We use information we have to verify accounts and activity; avoid harmful conduct; protect users against bad experiences; and promote safety, security, and integrity on and off our Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our Terms and policies, and to ensure our Services are being used legally.
Communications About Our Services.
We use information we have to communicate with you about our Services and let you know about our terms, policies, and other important updates. We may provide you marketing for our Services and those of Quodin
No Third-Party Banner Ads.
We still do not allow third-party banner ads on our Services. We have no intention to introduce them, but if we ever do, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Business Interactions.
We enable you and Institutions registered on the platform to communicate and interact with each other using our Services, such as Industry of businesses for businesses on Quodin through which you can browse products and services. Businesses may send you transaction, appointment, product and service updates; and marketing.
Information You And We Share
You share your information as you use and communicate through our Services, and we share your information to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services.
Information Associated With Your Account.
Your username, phone number, display name and photo, “about” information, country, and message receipts are available to anyone who uses our Services, although you can configure your Services settings to manage certain information available to other users, including businesses, with whom you communicate.
Followers and Following List(s).
Any user of Quodin can choose to follow other users. In this regard, your follower(s) and following lists are made public for other users to view and in some case either choose to also follow them.
Send Your Information To Those With Whom You Choose To Communicate.
You share your information (including messages) as you use and communicate through our Services.
Mentions.
Your username can be tagged or mentioned in a post by other users, in that instance, you will get notification to that effect.
Location.
The system does not detect location automatically, therefore, to enjoy the full potential of the system, it’s best that you indicate/update your current location(i.e. country and or city).
Businesses On Quodin.
We offer specific services to businesses such as providing them with metrics regarding their use of our Services. When a user registers an institution and it is published, it then become public information in so far as to help promote the business across the globe; hence a great marketing tool for all kinds of businesses, from startups to already established businesses.
Assignment, Change Of Control, And Transfer.
In the event that we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or some of our assets, we will share your information with the successor entities or new owners in connection with the transaction in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
